Typical Iblean landscape farm built at the end of the 19th century, still in good condition today. It is located in Contrada Pianicella, just 5 km away from Marina di Ragusa, with its modern tourist port.
In a few minutes drive you can reach all the places of the Baroque such as Scicli, Modica, Ragusa and more generally the entire Val di Noto recognized as the largest territory with the highest concentration of UNESCO sites.
The main building overlooks large courtyards bordered by dry-stone walls.
It has a regular rectangular shape on two levels with thick walls in typical exposed stone.
Adjacent to the courtyard and the veranda, in front of the farmhouse, we find a well-kept vegetable garden full of ornamental plants and fruit trees.
A part of the building is still in its original state with period paving stones, stone walls and exposed wooden roofing. It always follows a regular shape and the total area is about 800 square meters.
The part of the covered surface is completed by a body used as stables and warehouses, with the inevitable house of the wood-burning oven. On the entrance courtyard there is also a small church, now deconsecrated.
The electrical connection is already in place, while for water supply you can use as many as 4 water collection tanks.
The structure lends itself well as a private residence of charm or business accommodation.
The property also includes a large area of land surrounding the flat house, whose surface is about 17 hectares, inside which there are around 400 century-old carob trees and 80 olive trees.
